We asked 100 people: "What do you think about when you think about sex? What do you think of when you think of potatoes? When you think about your sex life: what would you like to see on a stage?“

How can we connect the stories of 100 people within one evening? - When sex is supposed to be experimental for some people and familiar for others? - When what is self-care for some shames others?

The Sex-and-Potato-Team is not giving up. It dresses up for you. When the going gets tough, it splits. It conspires with itself and with the potato, which, uprooted and stolen, was once as demonised in Europe as sex and sexualities. The potato knows better than any other vegetable that what looks like a side dish is really something.

Sex und Kartoffeln is a collective and personal evening by you and us and for all of us - in search of what can be when sex is no longer taboo but becomes pleasure.
